Breathe. Let go. And remind yourself that this very moment is the only one you know you have for sure.
Supporting Our Sisters International (SOSI), a breast health organization created to improve continuum care for women world-wide. We aim to help reduce breast cancer mortality by focusing on Access, Research and Survivorship. To accomplish our goal, we partnered with Sure Inc. a commercial company advancing innovation in breast cancer early detection.
TAKING GIANT STEPS!
Our goal is to Move Beyond Awareness to Action by creating effective programming to reach those most effected by breast cancer and providing survivors with resources to help them thrive after diagnosis. To develop partnerships with companies and organizations that are working to reduce breast cancer mortality rates and improve health outcomes for women.
SOSI was created to support sisters worldwide with a message of health, hope, healing and quality care. Although the color pink represents breast cancer, SOSI has chosen to add a hint of green to denote living green aimed at helping women live healthier lifestyles to reduce their risk or recurrence of breast cancer.
Through our exceptional attention to service, we are dedicated to saving lives by advancing innovation and providing access to early detection of breast cancer for ALL women. We are committed to improving continuum care and services for communities of color and at-risk populations.
Take no prisoners. It's time to drive innovation faster in an environment where established commercial interests are interfering with progress by placing profits ahead of people.
WE SEEK AND SUPPORT EFFECTIVE INNOVATION WITH NO REGARD FOR 'TRADITION;' THERE ARE LIVES TO BE SAVED.
Time to face facts. Traditional early detection efforts have peaked. 30% of U.S. women won’t engage screening and are at unnecessary risk - it’s time for new options.
WE SEEK RESULTS THROUGH NEW THOUGHTS & ACTIONS, NOT BY COMFORTABLY PUSHING THE STALLED STATUS QUO.
Everyone matters. Everyone matters. African American women in the U.S, die unnecessarily from breast cancer at a rate nearly 40% higher and often diagnosed younger with late stage breast cancer when treatment options are limited.
WE FOCUS WHERE OTHERS DON'T: ON SOLUTIONS TAILORED TO HAVE REAL IMPACT IN THE COMMUNITIES MOST IN NEED.
